Young Person and Young Adult Care at Cynosure
Caring for young persons and young adults with complex care needs can be challenging as they often want to maintain as much independence as possible. Our carers are specially trained to support young persons and young adults living with a range of circumstances such as:
- Learning disabilities
- Physical disabilities
- Recovering from surgery
- Convalescing after a period of illness or medical treatment
- Palliative care
We will work with you to understand your care needs and to develop a care plan that meets your individual requirements. We can provide as much or as little support as you need, for however long you need it.
Many young persons and young adults are taken care of by their parents or partners, so our carers know that their help should extend to the entire household. This may mean providing practical support around the home, such as helping with cooking and cleaning, or providing respite care to give carers a well-earned break. We appreciate that everyone is different, and our staff are always respectful of our clients’ privacy and property.
